The title of this book says Ultimate cheat sheet, however this is not a quick, overview type guide. Instead this is a full on eBook with chapters and there's is nothing cheat sheet about it. I already lost respect for this book in the dedication where it is dedicated to people who want to change their lifestyle through quick and easy dieting. Right there it tells me she's going to throw some gimmick diet at me, but I read more because I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt and read the entire thing before condemning the entire book.

I have to respect that she jumps right into the information immediately. There isn't a lot of fluff building up to the main points to add as filler, so that's a good thing. However, when she starts to describe the diet she loses me almost immediately again. The 2 day diet means you eat like you normally do for 5 days then go on an extremely calorie restrictive diet for 2 days. Wait...that doesn't sound healthy at all! Two days during the week men can only eat 600 calories and women can only eat 500 calories... and this goes on every single week.

I thought it was funny that the author looks down on fad diets, when she is here writing a book about a fad diet. Seriously, take her advice and avoid fad diets, this one included!

I also thought it was funny that she says to avoid processed foods yet when you get the companion book to this that claims to have 70 recipes, she encourages several different processed food items in the book such as "healthy" TV dinners and canned soups.

In this entire book there is only a brief mention of eating nutritional foods. Just a brief one paragraph. Other than that you're free to eat what you want for 5 days and magically restricting your calories for 2 days a week will counter all of the calories you ate during the week! She assumes you're already eating fairly healthy or she wouldn't be saying to just eat like you normally would for the 5 days a week. There is a short sentence or two saying, oh by the way, eat healthy those days, but it isn't the focus of the diet. The focus of the diet is restricting your calories for 2 days a week. If you're exercising regularly, this doesn't sound healthy at all.

Finally toward the end of the book it says to do this for 5 weeks and says you can lose up to 20 pounds. That's A LOT and because it's a lot it's way too much. Most experts I've listened to say you should lose weight slowly and not lose more than 2 pounds a week. This diet wants to double that.

There it is! Chapter 5 finally gives us a cheat sheet! Oh wait, no there isn't. Chapter 5 is one page only and says "following is a cheat sheet" but there is no cheat sheet or checklist following as promised. It just moves right into Chapter 6. Then Chapter 7 offers up some horrible meal plans that are extremely low calorie for you to use in this not recommended diet. (not recommended by me, the author still thinks it's fantastic at this point).

At the very end is the diet and exercise planner as promised, however if you're viewing this on eBook there is no way for you to access it. Just flip through the blank pages and enjoy. You'll have to recreate it by hand or just imagine what it would be like to use it because you're never going to get your hands on it...just your finger to swipe to the next page.

Overall this book promotes a horribly unsafe diet. It doesn't accurately describe the risks, there isn't enough push to talk to your doctor before doing this diet, and the author is contradictory toward herself, first saying fad diets are bad, then presenting a fad diet herself. I do not recommend this diet ever, in your life, just don't do it. Skip this book and find a book that promotes healthy lifestyle changes rather than a fad diet. The author doesn't even recognize that she's created a fad diet here, which says a lot about the trustworthiness of this book.

I will not lie. It took me a long time to finish this book. Initially, I got a bit turned off when the writer first suggested a 500 calorie per day eating plan. I suffer with migraines, and the last thing that I'm going to do is to either do all liquids or starve myself for the sake of weight loss. So, I put the book away for a long time. I felt bad because I had not completed a review on the book. So, I decided to revisit it, and I basically skipped through the first part of the book and started looking at some of the recipes. I must admit, there were some pretty good recipes in there, and I did pick up a few ideas of how to restructure some of my favorite foods to lower the caloric value in them.

If you can get past the grammatical and formatting errors that you run into from time to time, you might enjoy this book. I think the writer overplayed her hand by calling the book "Two Day Diet Bible." I think there is genuinely some good stuff in there, but it's hardly the "go to" book for a solid and sensible eating program. I do applaud her efforts, though, because there are going to be those people out there who generally don't eat a lot and who will be able to live with the 500 calories per day from time to time. I'm not one of them.

Becoming hooked on the dietary book written by Samantha Michaels. Today I read the eBook “The 2 Day Diet Bible”. I know many people trying to shed pounds and fail. Just like me, it seems like there is never enough time and found my self challenged with lack of time for exercise; or is it me? Often I feel many people like me procrastinate because its just easy to grab something quick and sit on the couch to have some mindless television ease the brain from the days work. Although its seems to be a way of life, it’s neither the smartest nor wise as its doing more harm to my overall health.

Chapter I goes into the 52 diet where you pick two days to fast but recommends not going 48 straight hours. Not bad, huh? I think I can do this. Not sure but will give it a try. Interestingly, Samantha Michaels shares a calorie intake of 500 calories for a woman. Would be nice to know where she receive this data from as most nutritionist always recommend based on height, age my appropriate BMI and readjust calorie intake from there. I appreciate that she shares that exercise going hand in hand with dieting as well as promote that skipping meals isn’t recommended.

Chapter 6 was a good read and enjoyed the tips of learning how to keep off the weight by prepping your supermarket food list early so there are no temptations.

A great offering from the eBook received was a chart you could print out that helps you jot down all the food and track calorie/carbohydrate intake as well as physical activity outlines. I’ve been very successful with dieting and plan to tweak my current diet plan to try this to reach my goal. As with any change in diet it is always recommended for everyone to check with their local physician for their recommendation and adjustments
